Creative portraits are good for the soul. Walking about your normal day, you stumble across a location you see all of the time but there is something different today and just like that, inspiration hits! People often talk about inspiration and where to find it? I am sure that we all wish there was a magic lever we could pull and great ideas would shower down on us. But the truth is, it is just something that happens. Maybe it's a location you see, a song you are listening too, a movie scene you love or you are just having one of those days.

I first started envisioning this image while walking through my parkade. The sky was really pretty and I wondered to myself if I could persuade anyone to sit on the top railing for me, especially considering it was a ten foot drop.

This was my original doodle, just getting what was in my head on paper! Cheers to being visual.

The next step was to make the dress, Value Village came to the rescue as usual!

The morning of, before class even, I was bending a wire into the shape of a crown...

Here is a visual as to how high the very brave Paige was for the shoot.

Voila! The finished product that I love dearly <3

A forest queen using her powers to playfully levitate pine cones.

ps: Sorry for the low quality, please look under my creatives section for a better image!
